In
September 2002, I took a digital photography course that
was conducted in and around Yellowstone National Park. I
really do not know why I took the course. At a conscious
level, I wanted to become a better photographer and
Yellowstone seemed like a good place to start. But I
also had a nagging sense that there were also reasons
beyond the level of my consciousness. It was as if there
was a suppressed level of awareness within me that was
struggling to get free. I am not sure that I left that
workshop a better photographer, but there is now
something beginning to stir within me that has been too
long asleep. In order to better understand what was
happening, I knew that I must give these evolving
thoughts and feelings the opportunity for expression.
That is what this web site is all about. It is a vehicle
that forces me do what I might otherwise procrastinate;
that is to reflect on and attempt to bring into a higher
level of consciousness what I refer to as |

Why would
you be interested in this awakening in me? Maybe you are
not. This website is really not about you, it is about
this feeling inside me. But while my intention may be
selfish, I would surely be honored if my thoughts and
images somehow inspire something within you to also
begin to stir. |
